This is a very important step and must be done by a Qualified Person. Once the assessment is completed, we will know what we are working with and we can build an accurate estimate. If Hazmat is found in the survey, this will drive the cost of the demolition up and therefore its best to know before the project starts so you can budget accordingly. You can then decide if you want to remove or if encapsulating is the best option for you. Encapsulation will still require work procedures, but there will be considerably less costs. Once we have received the approval and signed a contract, we can complete the project in accordance with WorksafeBC and dispose of the hazardous materials in accordance with the Ministry of Natural Resources.
